Hi, my name is Jim Jensen. I started working at Starr Cycle spring of 15’ aka the newest member of the team! I have felt extremely welcome by both customers and the staff since the first day. I completed my motorcycle safety course back in 2014 with John and have been anxious to get my own bike ever since. John told me I was best in the class; however I THINK he told that to everyone. You can tell John has a passion for what he does and I would definitely recommend him to anyone excited to take the safety course.

In my former life, I was a loan officer for over 12 years. I graduated with a BA from Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN and have an AA degree from Waldorf College, Forest City, IA. I wanted to apply my lending background with something that I enjoy… power sports! Ever since I can remember I have been trail riding on ATV’s, hitting the lake on the old (stand-up) Kawasaki JS550’s, and watching sled racing trackside in Eagle River Wisconsin (snowmobile capitol of the world). My wife and two boys (Peyton and Weston) have a busy life of enjoying the outdoors, hockey, and riding around our home (at a safe speed) on our UTV. I have to literally rip my boys off the side by side; it is their favorite thing to do! They call it the “monster truck.”
